ACROSS TEAMS

This course is broken down into three key sections:
Learn, Challenge, and Apply.

Learn

In the Learn section, we will dive into the foundations of racism and white supremacy, focusing on the 4 pillars of white supremacy. Through each pillar, we’ll break it down, analyze case studies, and examine how it shows up in the workplace. You’ll have tasks to complete and a quiz at the end to reinforce your learning. The 4 pillars that we will explore are:

1. Monetisation: Explore how white supremacy commodifies cultures, labour, and resources, reducing them to tools for exploitation and profit within organisational systems.

2. Eradication: Examine the historical and systemic efforts to erase marginalised groups and how these practices manifest in modern organisational policies and practices.

3. Vilification: Understand how white supremacy perpetuates stereotypes and negative narratives about marginalised groups, shaping biases and behaviours in professional environments.

4. Indoctrination: Investigate how white supremacy embeds its ideologies through education, media, and workplace norms, sustaining inequities and resistance to change.

By the end of this section, you’ll have a deeper understanding of the foundational concepts of racism, white privilege, and how they impact organisations, alongside strategies for fostering equity and inclusion.

Challenge

Building on the foundational knowledge from the Learn section, this module shifts from understanding racism and white supremacy to actively assessing how these systems operate within your organisation. Through audits, surveys, and structured mentoring guidance, this section provides a clear framework for evaluating racial equity in your workplace. By pinpointing areas of exclusion and bias, leaders, managers, and teams can take intentional steps toward fostering inclusivity and accountability.

In this section, you will:

  • Assess leadership and team readiness for anti-racist change.

  • Conduct audits and staff surveys to uncover gaps in racial equity.

  • Interprete audit results to identify key areas for action.

  • Implement mentorship structures that support long-term change.

By the end of this module, you’ll have the insights and data necessary to move from awareness to action, ensuring that anti-racist commitments translate into meaningful organisational shifts.

Apply

With a clear understanding of racial equity (Learn) and a data-driven assessment of your organisation (Challenge), this final section focuses on action. Now, it’s time to put knowledge into practice. Through a guided, step-by-step approach, you will implement meaningful changes that disrupt inequitable systems and create lasting transformation.

This section will support you in:

  • Developing and executing action plans based on audit findings.

  • Implementing policies and practices that promote racial equity.

  • Embedding accountability structures to ensure sustained progress.

  • Building an organisational culture rooted in inclusivity and anti-racist leadership.

By the end of this module, you’ll have concrete strategies in place, ensuring that anti-racism is not just an intention but an ongoing practice within your organisation.
