Program Structure

Our Anti-Racist Action Research Program is designed to blend research with real-world application. Each stage builds on the last, ensuring participants gain practical tools to create meaningful change.

Foundations of Anti-Racism – Understanding key concepts, biases, and systemic issues.
Collaborative Inquiry – Engaging in research, discussions, and reflection.
Action Planning – Developing tailored strategies to implement in schools and communities
Implementation & Support – Putting plans into action with ongoing guidance.
Impact & Reflection – Measuring progress and ensuring long-term change.

Program Options

In-Person

For schools in the UK and Wales

This program is designed for local impact and collaboration. Schools apply as a group of at least 8 schools from their region. Together, these schools will participate in a face-to-face program that encourages shared learning, localised research, and networking across multiple institutions.

**Applications must be submitted collectively by the group lead.
**Limited cohorts run annually -- early application is encouraged.

This fully virtual program brings together schools from across the globe. Schools apply individually, and we cluster them into virtual cohorts to ensure a collaborative experience.

CASE STUDY

Vale of Glamorgan

As part of the Vale of Glamorgan’s ongoing commitment to anti-racism, Apex Educate and was approached to create a bespoke programme of anti-racist Professional Learning for leaders. This was supportive of the LA’s wider anti-racist work being carried out and supports the ARWAP being realised.
